Kobbie Mainoo picked the perfect time to score his first Premier League goal as he fired Manchester United to a late 4-3 win against Wolves.

Just two minutes later, though, Mainoo received the ball from Omari Forson — on for his first Premier League match — and drove forward before he tucked away the winner.

The goal was the 18-year-old's first in the Premier League and his second for United, having scored in last week's 4-2 win against Newport County in the FA Cup. He has featured eight times in the English top-flight this season and the match against Wolves was his sixth consecutive start in the league.
Mainoo will expect to keep his place in Erik ten Hag's team when they face West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday. The Hammers are just one point and one place above United in the league heading into the game, but the Red Devils are unbeaten in four matches in all competitions, whereas David Moyes' team have drawn four and lost one of their last five.
